Mental Health

If you are experiencing mental health concerns, you can have your GP organise a Mental Health Care Plan for you. Currently a Mental Health Care Plan allows an individual to access up to 10 subsidised sessions per calendar year. The current Medicare rebates are as follows:

Pregnancy Support Counselling

If you are currently pregnant or have been pregnant in the last 12 months, you are eligible for 3 subsidised counselling sessions for each pregnancy. The current Medicare rebates are as follows:

Medicare rebates apply to both in-person and telehealth appointments.

Payment, Cancellation and Non-Attendance Fee’s

Full payment is required on the day of your appointment. If you’re eligible for a Medicare rebate, I’ll process it for you on the same day, and the rebate will usually be deposited into your bank account within one business day.

Please note that only card payments are accepted.

If you need to cancel your appointment, please provide at least 48 hours' notice. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice may incur a fee of 50% of the appointment cost. For cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice or for non-attendance, a fee equivalent to 100% of the appointment cost may apply.
