Medicare Rebates

Mental Health

If you are experiencing mental health concerns, you can have your GP organise a Mental Health Care Plan for you. Currently a Mental Health Care Plan allows an individual to access up to 10 subsidised sessions per calendar year. The current Medicare rebates are as follows:

Initial/Standard Consultation

$82.30 Medicare rebate

Short Consultation

$58.30 Medicare rebate

Pregnancy Support Counselling

If you are currently pregnant or have been pregnant in the last 12 months, you are eligible for 3 subsidised counselling sessions for each pregnancy. The current Medicare rebates are as follows:

$70.85 Medicare Rebate

Medicare rebates apply to both in-person and telehealth appointments.

Payment, Cancellation and Non-Attendance Fee’s

Full payment is taken on the day of your appointment. If you’re claiming a Medicare rebate, I’ll process it for you on the same day, and you’ll usually see the rebate in your bank account by the next day.

For your convenience, I accept both cash and card payments.

Please note, If you cancel your appointment with less than 24 hours notice or do not attend your appointment, a $50 fee may be charged.
