Fee’s and Rebates
Standard consultations are $160 per session (50 minutes).
Depending on your circumstances, you may be eligible for Medicare rebates, Private Health rebates, or NDIS funding, which can help reduce the cost of accessing private mental health support.
Medicare
Medicare rebates are available for clients attending with a Mental Health Care Plan. The current Medicare rebate is $87.20 per session, reducing the out-of-pocket cost of a standard consultation to $72.80.
If you are experiencing challenges with your mental health and wellbeing, your GP may be able to prepare a Mental Health Care Plan. These plans allow eligible individuals to access Medicare rebates for up to 10 counselling sessions per calendar year, helping to make support more affordable and accessible.
If you're unsure where to start or would like more information about accessing a Mental Health Care Plan, please feel free to get in touch.
Other Funding Options
Private Health & NDIS
Private Health rebates may be available depending on your level of cover and health fund. As rebate amounts vary between providers and policies, I recommend contacting your health fund directly to confirm your eligibility and rebate amount.
NDIS participants are warmly welcome. I work with plan-managed NDIS participants and understand that navigating funding and supports can sometimes feel overwhelming. If you would like to discuss whether counselling may be a good fit for your needs, or have questions about fees and funding arrangements, please don't hesitate to reach out.
Payment, Cancellation & Non-Attendance Fee’s
Full payment is required on the day of your appointment. If you're eligible for a Medicare rebate, this will be processed on your behalf following your session.
Please note that payment is accepted via card only.
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, I kindly ask that you provide at least 48 hours' notice. Less than 48 hours' notice: a fee of 50% of the appointment cost may apply. Less than 24 hours' notice or non-attendance: a fee of up to 100% of the appointment cost may apply.
These policies help ensure appointment times remain available for those who may be waiting for support.
